City Council Regular Meeting Minutes
Monday, October 4, 2021
The Auburn City Council met in regular session at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 4, 2021, in the council
chambers of Auburn City Hall.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm
Presiding: Mayor Brown
Present: Council Members Bryan, Potter, Arpin, Davis
City Attorney Luckman, Superintendent Clinkenbeard, City Clerk Temple
Absent: Council Member Stewart
Pledge of Allegiance recited.
Previous Meeting Minutes
Approval of September 20, 2021, meeting minutes reviewed. Council Member Potter motioned to
approve meeting minutes. Council Member Arpin seconded the motion. Motion approved Unanimous.
Question of Bills
Detailed report of payment of invoices and checks included in meeting packet for all to review. Council
Member Bryan motioned to approve accounts payable ledger of $41,481.52 including Payroll. Council
Member Potter seconded the motion. Motion approved Unanimous.
City Engineer Pat Cox
14th Street Construction Update.
Citizens Forum
Rachel Chew - provided update on property improvements.
Johnathan Baker- Sold property at 4th and School Street. Requested to schedule utility install to move
forward on building project. New owner bought both properties so only one house will be built. The
property alley easement discussed. Todd to research to write out a vacate ordinance to present at next
council meeting on October 18, 2021.
John Jenkins - would like sidewalk extended near property of 140 E. 9th Street. Council Member Arpin
motioned to approve up to $1500 for concrete. Council Member Potter seconded the motion. Motion
approved Unanimous.
Civic Center Cleaning
Civic Center Cleaning was discussed. Recommended to delete requirement for cleaning between parties.
Due to change in requirements, bid needs to be reopened. Council Member Potter motioned to approve
re-opening bid to exclude control between parties. Council Member Arpin seconded the motion. Motion
approved Unanimous.
Meals on Wheels Contract
Meals on Wheels contract due to renew. New contract presented for approval. Council Member Arpin
motioned to approve contract as written. Council Member Davis seconded the motion. Motion
approved Unanimous.
Parks Update
Update on improvement community projects.
Chief Keys
Police Department Update.
City Attorney Luckman
Legal Update.
Superintendent Clinkenbeard
Maintenance update. Price of $2700 concrete pad, concrete for 2 flag poles, and concrete for
installation of bell. Council Member Bryan motioned to approve $2700 concrete for 2 flag poles, bell
and concrete pad. Council Member Potter seconded the motion. Motion approved Unanimous.
Code Compliance Update.
City Clerk Temple
Website improvements discussed.

Council Member Potter motioned to adjourn. Council Member Davis seconded the motion. Motion
approved Unanimous.
